The Back-To-School Bash is back for its 3rd year, and we are so excited to help the kids in our community celebrate the beginning of a new year while also helping to provide supplies for anyone who need them.
It’s hard to believe that the Summer is nearly over and School will begin in just a few short weeks. The Bash is a great way for kids to unwind after the first couple days back at their desks.
On Wednesday, August 27th, the Middle School sport court will be buzzing with activity and music from 5:30-7:30pm.
What’s Happening?
We’ve got some fun things planned!
Dance Party! The DJ Man will be set up with all the fun tunes, so bring your dancing shoes!
Games and Activities - Clarion Businesses will be hosting games and activites for the kids to play. Some could include, giant checkers, connect four, coloring contests, pluck a duck and more!
Food Vendors - Don’t worry about supper that night, we will have The Taco Shack and The Emergency Scoop on site and ready to serve you.
Giant Foam Party - Who doesn’t love to end the night in a BIG mess? Bring old clothes or swimsuits and hop into the foam party starting at 6:30pm. Please bring towels as there will not be an area to clean up afterwards.
Why We Do It
Yes, it’s about the fun - but it’s also about helping our students and teachers start and continue the year with everything they need. Instead of charging an admission, we’re asking everyone to bring at least one school supply or snack closet item to donate (see photo below of suggested items).
Every single item we collect goes straight to the school district, so you’ll be making a difference while you’re having a good time!
How To Get Involved
If your business is wanting to get involved with the Bash, just contact our director via email. Businesses are just asked to provide and host a game or event from 5:30 until the foam party begins! Activity can be anything you’d like, it can be as simple or as complicated as you’re feeling up for!
